Maintenance Structures
Goderich Aircraft's structural repair department has been contracted to carry out required repairs to the horizontal stabilizer of a Cessna Citation 650. Inspection of the tailplane during the refinishing process revealed corrosion damage to the external skin surfaces, which left untreated, may have compromised the structural integrity of the unit. This analysis was confirmed by consultation with Cessna Citation Structural Engineers in Wichita, Kansas.
Prior to commencing repairs, the tooling fixture, shown here had to be fabricated to ensure precision tolerances demanded by the O.E.M. structural repair manual would be strictly adhered to. Another example of Goderich Aircraft's commitment to carrying out repairs and modifications to the highest degree of craftsmanship demanded in the industry.
